Welcome to the Bioinformatics Core Service Group


The University of Wyoming Bioinfomatics Core Service Group (UW Bioinformatics) is part of the IDeA Networks of Biomedical Research Excellence (INBRE). The purpose of UW Bioinformatics is to provide life scientists on the University of Wyoming campus with support, training, and guidance in bioinformatics related research questions and projects.

We envision that some projects will be suited to run as a collaboration between the research group and UW Bioinformatics, while other projects may be better suited to be run within a research group given that UW Bioinformatics can provide relevant bioinformatics training.


We are accepting project applications.



Our office hours are Monday and Wednesday 9-10 am or by appointment.
