V-2 оружие мести нацисткой Германии.
Ракета V-2 имела скорость три маха (скорости звука) на конечном участке траектории.
поэтому их приближение было абсолютно неслышным. Падающая
с высоты 90 км V-2 оставляла после себя тонкий белый инверсионный след устремляющийся к земле,
как комета рассекающая небо. Через несколько секунд город потрясает мощнейший взрыв способный разрушить квартал, после этого доносится звук работающих двигателей ракеты и сдедующий за ним сверхзвуковой удар,
обычно хорошо слышимый во всём городе. От этой машины не было спасения...

It was definitely not a contrail, but it was like a streak from a comet - as fast as a shooting star. It was a long, thin, white streak, more like a flash coming down to the earth. This was seen about 1-2 seconds before the impact."

Firstly the explosion,secondly the roar of the rocket motors catching up (because it travelled slower than the supersonic Rocket) and lastly the noise of the sonic boom from the upper atmosphere. The noise could be heard all over the capital."
